Newcastle University – Urban Sciences Building – Lunchtime Study Tour – October 19th 2017

Join us for a lunchtime study tour of Newcastle University’s brand new Urban Sciences Building. at Science Central.

Situated on the Science Central site, the building and its surrounding city area will become a living laboratory underpinning research to make urban centres more sustainable for future generations.

This lunchtime study tour will provide an opportunity for members of the Landscape Institute North East and Royal Town Planning Institute North East Young Planners to find out about the new, full-scale Green Infrastructure and Urban Water Laboratory before touring the facility guided by Drs Ross Stirling and Jennine Jonczyk from the University’s School of Engineering.

The event – on October 19 – will start with a talk in The Event Space at 12.30pm, to be followed by the tour itself.

The event is free to attend, but bookings should be made through the RTPI website. 20 places are available for LINE members.
